New Yamaha FZ16 and FZ-S sport new graphics, colours, ‘Stylish Macho’ statement

Yamaha’s FZ16 and FZ-S are two popular sporty bikes which just make the 160 cc category. Now India Yamaha has announced that it will introduce new graphics and colour schemes on its FZ16 and FZ-S. Riding on the success of these two motorcycles, the company plans to portray both bikes under the style statement ‘Stylish Macho’.

Commenting on the latest versions of FZ16 and FZ-S, Mr. Koji Arai, Director & Chief Sales Officer, India Yamaha Motor said, “With the refreshed versions of FZ16 and FZ-S, we want to strengthen our presence in the highly competitive 150cc+ segment and increase our share from 12% to 20% by year-end. We have kept the essence of FZ series bikes intact while altering the aesthetics to exemplify the masculine feeling these tough machines are known for. The stylish graphics will take the street fighter image to its next level.”

The new FZ16 will be available in Lava Red and Midnight Black, while the new FZ-S will come in Black Cyber Green, Silver Tech and Sport Electric. With all new graphics and change in colour of a few body parts, the new bikes are ready to carry the tag ‘Stylish Macho’. Yamaha also says that it has incorporated new logos on these bikes, giving them a more masculine feel.

The new FZ16 and FZ-S will meet BSIII emission norms. Ex-showroom Delhi prices of the FZ16 and the FZ-S are Rs. 65,000 and Rs. 67,000 respectively.
